It took some time to leave the marina at Sorel, due to replenishing water and fuel. We wanted to be ready for the mighty St. Lawrence seaway. Luckily, it was great weather and the river was calm. Yet, the river current was strong, as sometimes we proceeded slowly at less than 5 knots. We finally made it to Montreal around 6pm and found a wonderful anchorage outside Montreal at de Bourettsville. Here is a pic of Montreal from the water. Then, it was time for a swim at anchorage. The anchorage was crowded at 6pm, but by 9pm we were the only boat on the water and we felt like the entire creek was just ours.
I'm thinking you mean Boucherville, in behind the Park?
